Throuhout the summer months We will be removing wasps nests throughout Trafford, Manchester, Lancashire and Cheshire for a fixed fee of thirty-two pounds (£44.50 for postcodes (CH, CW & L).
We work 7 days per week including evenings and weekends and do not charge extra for evening and weekend call outs.
Wasps nests can normally be dealt with from the outside of the property by blowing a small amount of insecticide into the entrance hole using a special applicator.
It is necessary to have a wasps’ nest removed before September when the new queens which will make next year’s nests start to be produced. Once this commences just destoying the nest will not kill these queens as they are no longer going back to the nest. A single nest can release up to 2000 queens.
In the summer months we give priority to wasp calls as we are aware that many people can have a severe reaction to wasps stings and it is important to deal with the nest as with the utmost urgency. We do our utmost to provide a same day service but this is obviously ruled by how much work we have on.
It is not usual to remove the wasp nest itself as it can’t be used again and, being built from purely of wasp paper will crumble away by itself.
