Web page design requires the person to have a thorough knowledge about web languages such as Hypertext Markup Protocol (HTML), Extensible Markup Language (XML) etc. in order to create the visual effect of what we see on the user interface. In cases like email accounts and personal accounts which require the personal information of users; measures have to be taken to protect the data. In addition to passwords and other security features, the data has to be secures with encryption to prevent the data being access by unauthorized persons.
There are special layouts for certain types of web sites. Forums and blogs usual each have very standard layouts. Every case requires that users upload content on the website. The content; usually comments or replies, consist mainly of text. In social networking web sites however, the web page design has to accommodate the uploading of images and videos in addition to text. It is important that the web page design is ideal for users to easily upload content. Usability is important for any webdesign and layout for matters with too much complexity will rupture the user experience.
