For maximum weight loss, you would be better walking at a stiff pace regularly and doing sprints once a week or so. This type of routine will generally work more effectively for weight loss than running consistently at a pace. It is also a lot easier on your joints.

- Resistance Training- When people today think of losing weight, they generally think of walking on a treadmill, jogging, or another type of aerobic exercise. Aerobic exercises or cardio exercise have their spot in a weight loss routine, but I believe resistance training is a lot more critical. You will burn more calories each day if you are carrying more lean mass.. If you gain more muscle, and eat the identical number of calories, you will use far more calories every day just from the increase in muscle. Resistance training done correctly will contribute to your body to use up calories to help build up the lean muscle and cause them to develop. If you are trying to lose weight and aren’t doing any reisitance training, you are truly selling yourself short. Irrespective of whether it’s in a health club with weights, at home with weights, or body weight training, you will definitely lose much more weight than performing cardio alone.

-Fasting- Fasting for weight loss is in my belief the greatest approach to lose weight. I never pay attention to calories, rarely try different diet programs, and rarely feel concerned if I go to a celebration and over-indulge.
