There are some things that the price will fluctuate, you need to watch the fluctuation and buy when these things are at the lowest price. If you will expect that the price will rise in the near future them buying the item would be your best bet.
Labour cost is a hard thing to have any control over, but you should be very choosy about what carpenter that you do choose. This is because you do not need any major problems to a rise in the near future due to a poor quality of work.
